How to tame
Section titled “How to tame”- Go to the Nether and search a Crimson Forest.
- Look at its glow. A bright glow means it is full of lava and calm. Only try when it is calm.
- Feed it Magma Blocks. On Bedrock it takes 15 to 25 blocks. On Java every block has a 10% chance.
- Put a Saddle on it to ride it.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Fire and lava do not hurt it.
- When it runs low on lava it gets angry and attacks.
- A tamed one stores lava for you. Use a Lava Bucket to fill it and an empty Bucket to take lava out. On Bedrock it holds up to 15 buckets.
- On Java, keep it fed. If it stays empty for 60 seconds, it turns wild again.
